I have the same problem. There’s no perfect fix but I’m going to try removing the sock, also may make an insert to hood the sock wide open and see if that works any better. Live oak leaves are the worst for some reason!

I say it’s worth a try. Worked on mine.

I used a sheet of self adhesive Teflon cut to fit on the suggestion of another user (MarkTX). Applied to the bottom of the Dolphin, it reduced the friction enough to keep it from getting stuck!
