How to close an outdoor in ground pool indefinitely

Thanks for pointing out that the cost of removing the pool would be higher than just hiring a service to keep it running. I’m already using a Pentair variable speed pump and I’ll look into an SWG. I’ll also try to find a company that could make a custom cover. I appreciate all the suggestions.

How to close an outdoor in ground pool indefinitely

My thanks for your reply. I really don’t want to fill the pool in because the pool and its landscaping are a big part of what makes the property special. I live at the bottom of a hill and rain water often saturates the property so leaving the pool empty is definitely not an option. Looking...

What I need: — If anyone has any tricks to removing the glued in spider gasket, please share them, and — Can anyone help find the correct replacement valve...

I’m seeking help on an overheating pool motor problem and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ——— Here’s the problem: The booster pump motor (PB4-60 which I think was 2 yrs old at most) that supplies water to my Polaris pool cleaner reached the point where it would hum without...

    Rant: Liquid Bleach non-disclosure

Brief (ok, not so brief - so sue me) rant against the machine: I’ve typically used chlorine granules as my go-to shock product. However, the recent price increases (or “gouging” as it is sometimes known) have moved me to look for more economical options. Now, I’m trying to find the best...

    Leslie’s shock products

I can’t figure out the difference between Leslie’s Power Powder PLUS and Power Powder PRO and which one (if either) I should use. Suggestions?
