Can I split suction between raised spa and pool to run at lower RPM without spillover?

Ah got it! Thanks both of you, these are the answers I was looking for and I learned something new about filtering too! Appreciate it!

Can I split suction between raised spa and pool to run at lower RPM without spillover?

When I'm in normal pool mode the spillway works fine. Mostly what I was asking is can I set the JVAs to pull water from the spa and balance the amount of water going back to the pool/spa in pool mode so that I can have the VSP run at something like 1000 rpm and not dribble water over the...

Can I split suction between raised spa and pool to run at lower RPM without spillover?

Thanks for the reply. I think what I'm trying to achieve is just more filtering and to get some of the water from the spa mixed, wouldn't the returns going to the spa just push the water on top over the spill without much mixing in the bottom if the floor suction isn't on? The noise level at...

Can I split suction between raised spa and pool to run at lower RPM without spillover?

I have a Jandy aqualink RS system and a Jandy VSP. I have to run the VSP at 2600RPM to get the spillway to clear the coping below which means a 3.5hr turnover. I'm pretty sure the valves in "Pool Mod" are set to only pull water from the pool floor/filter basket, eg, no water is being removed...

    How thick can pebbletech be?

Following up in case anyone has this same question. We are using pebble and that can be built up to about 3/4". Adjusting the spa seat will require pouring more concrete on top of the gunite and adding some metal to mechanically bond it to the shell. We waited until the shell was cured and will...
