I started the slam this morning. Added nine jugs of liquid chlorine per pool math. At noon the FC was 32 and CC was 1. This evening FC was 25 and CC 0. I added two more jugs of chlorine. Patently waiting.

There is nothing on the bottom of the pool. What you see in that pic is shadows from the clouds. How can it be algae if TC and FC are the same and it passes the over night test? Thanks for the help.

No algaecide. I did shock with trichloro that contained copper, but it was green before that. I had the pool store test for copper and it was negative.
