We noticed some bubbles by a return fitting and realized it was loose. We tightened it and checked all the others and tried it again and we are up and running! Now the real work begins.

Tried twice and it won’t prime after 45 seconds. We put the hose pipe in the pump basket and it doesn’t stay filled above the inlet valve, but we filled it to above that level even though it was dropping, closed it and turned it on. After about 20 seconds, the pump basket does start filling up...

Hey @Newdude ! Follow up question for you; let me know if I should make a new post. I’ve followed all steps: plugs removed, valves are open, multiport in filter position and valve opened on top of the sand filter. Lots of air was released but no water is “passively coming into the pump basket”...
