    Chlorine, in... and gone!

Ping, I will look into that kit. FattyLumkin, I added 1 1/2 cup. Directions on the bottle label show that I should be adding 600g to raise by 30.

    Chlorine, in... and gone!

Thanks for the replies. I went back to the pool shop yesterday for another test. They brought up the low CYA being the reason for chlorine getting eaten up so fast. They sold me some "pro balance UV" to get the levels right. I understand the general consensus about pool shops, and have been...

Can I save this liner !!?? install gone bad

This is definitely the case. He seems to have worked from one side to another instead of from center out. The installer has advised me to fill up the pool completely and that it may take the entire season to stretch into place.... Does this sound right?

Can I save this liner !!?? install gone bad

It may seem "fine" but considering I am paying for a professional installation there are many things that point otherwise. It is a 15' pool, and the liner is off centered by several inches. All the stress of the liner stretching is on one side of the pool. Even visually you can see that the...

Can I save this liner !!?? install gone bad

There's is no foam along the bottom. He added a bit of sand and put down a "felt-like" carpet under the liner. there is definitely a gab between the liner and bottom of wall. It's been 2 weeks sitting with a foot of water and it still has not stretched into position.

Can I save this liner !!?? install gone bad

I've recently had a new Above ground pool j hook / u-bead liner installed in my 48", 15' above ground pool. Installed by a "professional"... In another thread I was wondering if the installer did an acceptable job. Liner doesn't touch around most of the circumference of the pool (where...

Pool liner installation issue ; liner not touching cove around pool

If any one else could chime in it would be really appreciated. I will give the installer a call back and want to have some more feedback. Im afraid he will just tell me that it will stretch. I just cant imagine the liner stretching at the bottom edge if there is already 1 foot of water in the...

Pool liner installation issue ; liner not touching cove around pool

There is a gap between liner and edge all around. Some places slightly more than others. Liner looks fairly well centered, however the seam of the liner isn't exactly at the edge of the wall/floor. At some places it is a few inches from the wall and others closer to the edge.
