Finally able to get back in here. The storm did a ton of damage to the area! I had a whole lot of leaves in the pool but nothing else wrong. Biggest thing is no power and could be a week or more until it’s back on. I have a decent size generator that will run the pool pump so been doing that...

Seems we are supposedto see less then 2” of rain now. It’s been so incredibly dry all summer the water had plenty of places to go. Digging for my electrical down up to 2’The ground was like chalk dust mixed with rocks.

Hoping this tropical storm and 2-4” of rain we are suppose to get tips off the water. I don’t want to fill from my well if I don’t have to knowing the rain is coming today. I know it’s not ideal but I added the recommended dose of chlorine via pool math just so there is something in the water...

I had to run and leave for work as soon as the second water truck delivered. Still need to finish up the filter and do my bonding. But the pool itself is complete!
