I might get those when it's time to replace the tires. Climbing the walls is not a big issue right now.

So what's the difference in the tires? Are the vinyl ones sticky?

It has ribbed tires. It looks like it gets on top of the drain and the tires can't get enough traction to move forward. I don't think this cleaner is really designed for a vinyl pool. It won't even come close to climbing the walls.

I just bought a two wheel The Pool Cleaner by Hayward. It is constantly getting stuck on the main drain and spends too much time in the deep end. Hayward suggested a drain cover ramp. They don't get very good reviews so I'm hesitant to spend the money unless I know something about them. Anyone...
