If I need a way to remotely activate it, why not just continue with the valve between the outlet for return and backwash? Wouldn’t have to worry about a hose then.

They cut it with a saw all the way around the pool and then had to carefully break it up with a pickaxe. They tried a jackhammer to start, but it was putting too much vibration on the fiberglass walls so they abandoned that method quickly.

I did a 60k gallon SWG as well. My pool is only 31k gallons and it works beautifully. You will enjoy it.

They used fiberglass sheets and wood to create the form.

That’s not a kit. This is all custom. Even the coping isn’t PRE-cut and will be cut on site.
