I've stained my vinyl liner....

Right, looks like the vit c tablet I used had rosehips in there, which i've read elsewhere may have been what the problem was. I will get some ascorbic acid later, what's the best way to test the stains with this? Thanks, Tom.

    I've stained my vinyl liner....

Hi Guys, Apologies for the late response, I didn't have my notifications set up correctly. Ok, so I dropped a vit c tablet on one of the stains but I have a feeling that not all vit c tablets are created equal, it just kind of gave off some funny coloured liquid that is now on top of the...

    I've stained my vinyl liner....

I've just noticed that I've managed to stain the vinyl liner in the pool in my new rented house. 99% sure I've done it with two different chemicals, once with cyanuric acid and once with Borax. The stains look like light brown/tan patches about an inch to 3 inches across, both the stains look...

Poolskim installation - not sure if possible or not?

Again apologies for the long delay in responding, I think I need to change my registered email address... OK, the skimmer is getting blocked very easily by leaves - but even before that happens it is not taking the bugs off the surface. Hence my question about adding a poolskim. The eyes face...

Poolskim installation - not sure if possible or not?

And an idea of the pool shape:- 20130806_121122.jpg[/attachment:1ypr5fxe] 20130806_120156.jpg[/attachment:1ypr5fxe] Basically the skimmer is getting blocked very easily and the pool is always covered in bugs and leaves - I'm thinking that a...

Poolskim installation - not sure if possible or not?

Hi, The house I am renting at the moment has four 1 inch returns at one end and a skimmer at the other that does basically nothing. I'd like to try the pool skim but looking at the eyeball style returns there is no way of screwing anything off - they seem to be one piece and cemented in to the...

    Zodiac Tri-Ph

Thanks James, the Oakton one looks just the job. Cheers, Tom.

    Zodiac Tri-Ph

Hi James, Ah, thought this was the case - what a rubbish design! If the machine is measuring the level, it would make sense to show it... Thanks for the link to the liquid test kit - do you know of any digital meters that can do the same and are reliable? Cheers, Tom.

    Zodiac Tri-Ph

Hi James, He added the whole system, but the PH side of things has not been connected, so it will just be used for chlorine generation. Cheers, Tom.

    Zodiac Tri-Ph

I can home today to find that my landlord has put a shiny new Zodiac Tri-Ph meter into my pump room whilst I was out and about!! In my previous house there was Haywood Aquarite that showed the salt level in ppm and this seemed to be accurate enough to dose the salt by. However, I can't seem to...

Operating manual for Aquarite SWG software version 1.4...?

Re: Operating manual for Aquarite SWG software version 1.4.. Hey Dave, Where I am (in Thailand) the pool companies are about as unorganized as it's possible to be. The company that installed this particular Aquarite came out today to "check" the cell was working after 7 years daily use and...
