Thanks for your reply, I will keep digging more into this case, my pool is only 4 months old and this seems to be very old. None of my neighbors have experienced anything similar and they pools are about one year old.

Thanks for your response. It does look like discoloration to me, I cannot see any build up on the plaster . I am sharing a couple of close up pictures and one where you can see the difference of color between the normal aqua blue plaster color and the white spot
