I have noticed a correlation in TA and PH. At least in my pool. Usually if I add baking soda to raise PH, my alkalinity goes up also. I believe (and if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me) that alkalinity is a buffer for ph.

I never thought of it that way. That's a good idea.

This is the 3rd season we've had it. Well apply like a rustoleum or flex seal or something to the outside. I just wanted to make sure there is nothing I'm missing when I fixed it.

Yes we did recover a 9mm bullet. Well my 10 year old did while she was cleaning/swimming. Some idiot was shooting in the air. A bullet hit our pool and another one hit a gutter on someone's house.
