Looking to see if anyone has ever had groundwater getting behind the liner along the wall. I know it is groundwater due to no measurable salinity of the water behind the liner in my SWG vinyl pool. Thanks, Ted

Found an old picture I took after S300 cleaning. My Blue Diamond doesnt do this, and I need something that will clean like it does (or better).

When I open it, or with pollen, or if I have been gone for a week or so, I will have some silt on the vinyl. I also have cantilever concrete coping that overhangs the pool, and the salt does tend to bring some of that into the pool. But regardless of how it gets there, the S300 would not...

Thanks for the clarification. That grinds me. I specifically called Hayward for clarification, and was told W within part number was 1 year.. Oh well, $400 out the window due to buying the T-Cell-940. :cautious:

I did look at these, but "W" models are only a one-year warranty vs three. I called Hayward to verify.

FYI - My cell finally died. It was coming up on its 12th season. Got more than my monies worth out of it. Then I went to buy a replacement, and Hayward only has the T-Cell-940, basically an "extended life" version of the T-Cell-15. I shopped around, and best I could find was $1250. OUCH...

I am on year 12, only a mesh cover, follow TFP to a T, and always open to crystal clear water.

So I just had to order a new safety cover after 12 seasons. It would have lasted longer, but my mountain pond pool has concrete coping that is very rough. My current two Golden Retrievers have found that running entire length of yard AND on pool cover is a fun way to get rid of the zoomies...
