    Yea I don't believe one exists that doesn't break down over time so the next best option is free replacements! Good to hear the process is easy!

    Been cleaning my own plaster pool in Florida (year round use) for 11 years now and have yet to find a brush, steel/nylon/kryponite etc. that wont shed in my pool and filters after a few months of use. I've tried whale tails, "pro" ones, big box store ones, steel ones from Pinch recommended...

    Thinking back all I can think of is that I didn't reach far enough (18" or so) into the water to collect sample. Which I normally do OR there indeed was some residual rain water left in the upper 1/3 of my pool water. Either way I took two separate tests and yielded the same results...

    Same time of day for the last three days. Bright outside bu test completed under porch awning. Pump running during rain showers yesterday and again today. Should be equally mixed I believe.
