    It won’t go away. Drain?

Yes to SLAM, twice. I have not deep cleaned the filter. I guess I’ll do that before draining. Deep cleaning, would that involve bleaching all components and replacing the sand?

Not slimy. It’s dust. Can be vacuumed but comes back (settles back).

I’ve SLAM-med twice. Vacuumed multiple times (sand filter). Vacuumed to waste yesterday and it still keeps coming back! Should I just drain it?

New Intex 2 inlets no skimmer

Thanks! I seem to only have one plug though. I'll have to look into getting another one. I assume you have an in-wall skimmer, correct?

New Intex 2 inlets no skimmer

Thanks! I had checked out that thread. I did a search but didn't come up with what I was looking for, probably searching for the wrong terms. I know someone has already dealt with this and I can't be the only one. Thanks again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New Intex 2 inlets no skimmer

After 6 years, it was time to retire the old 18' x 52" Intex pool and get another. I replaced the liner once during that time (mainly due to neglect and poor maintenance) and the frame was rusting now (Southwest Louisiana), but it wasn't as bad as I thought. So the new pool came with 2 inlets...

    Cantilever umbrella

I had a 12' cantilever on the edge of my above ground pool. It was a Coolaroo brand and held up extremely well for a couple of years until I was in the pool with the umbrella open and a HUGE gust of wind took it. The big plastic base was filled with water. Unfortunately, the umbrella broke. I...

    My Sliding Patio Railings

Thanks so much for your reply! I was hoping it might have been something I hadn't yet come across. Unfortunately, it is the barn door hardware, and I just cannot justify that expense for some doors on my porch. :) But, again, it is a great idea and well executed! Cute pups too! Sent from my...

    My Sliding Patio Railings

I'm curious about the track used. Do you know what fence guy used or have a pic of the track? I'm wanting to do a sliding patio door on my deck and don't want to spend a small fortune on barn door hardware. This looks great and great idea! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
