Help replacing and upgrading to SWCG and VSP system

Unfortunately I only have 115v at the pump. Although I think my booster pump which barely works and is no longer necessary has 230v and I could utilize that wiring.

I don't have the switch so I would have to rewire it for high speed

Help! I replaced my motor with a new two speed version. Ive got it on low speed. It is running and circulating but the basket will not fill and the psi on the filter is zero. Something doesn't seem right. I replaced the gaskets and I'm confident it is put together correctly.

Oh yea, i hear ya. I spent probably $1000 on chlorine last summer (my first summer with the house). I think we'll be here another year, so the SWCG would be money ahead. i could replace the motor with a VSP and save a little there

The old Century 1HP Single Speed pump is dead. Well, it's possible it could be fixed but everything is pretty old and I'm tired of the chlorine lugging. Also have an old booster pump that I plan to rip out while I'm at it. Definitely have plenty of voltage at the pad, I think the booster and...

    #lifehack for adding Liquid Chlorine

Once I determined that my pool needs 1 gal of 10% LC added per day, I decided that I needed a better way than simply standing there over a return jet and slowly pouring. So I place the jug on the side of the pool and open the lid, then I slightly open one end of the safety seal, then do the same...
