Thanks for the reply. What I meant was, does it bother you that you can't walk all the way up to the edge of the deck, since the pool railing sits on top of it?

That's what I was thinking about doing, it would also help hide the end of the deck board that won't perfectly match the pool. I like the little rise you have to go over it onto the steps. Does it ever bother you that the railing is above the deck surface?

Yeah I actually figured out shortly after posting that a bunch of Japanese beetles had gotten under the skimmer basket and caught by the pump basket.

I've got a new 27' round AGP with a pentait 1.5hp pump and a 24" sand dollar filter. Ever since I got it set up the filter pressure had been 14psi. I was just out there and it seemed like the pump sounded a little noisier. There isn't any air in the lines, but the pump is now running at 11psi...

Twice now the skimmer basket on my above ground pool had flipped over allowing debris to be caught by the basket inside the pump. What can I do to keep the skimmer basket from flipping over?

Was that the installed price? I bought a 27' AGP from Pool Warehouse for about $3600 and installed it myself.

I had it full, noticed a skimmer leak. I was nervous to pull the skimmer off with water in the pool so I drained it a ways and tried to seal it with Lexel. Filled it up again, still leaked. Then I decided to fix it the right way with a new gasket and all is well so far.

I just got my 27' install set up. We used stakes to push the track and wall up against so we knew we were circular and at the right dimension. It isn't perfect, but good enough at least. You can make some adjustments my increasing or decreasing the size of the gap between the tracks where they...
