Thanks! If I stayed with the cartridge filter what size would you suggest?

Normally it looks great. This past week it became cloudy and the flow from the pump is way down.

Thinking of switching to a sand filter. Currently have a cartridge filter that we have to clean 1 or 2 times per week. On our 3rd filter in 5 years. Thoughts?

I currently have an IntelliChlor IC15 for my 15,000 gallon fiberglass pool. It is the original salt generator that was installed back in August of 2010. It is not producing chlorine anymore and I am needing to replace it. Would the IC20 work or should I stick with the IC15?

I have a kit coming Saturday. I normally have been taking a sample to the local pool shop weekly.

FC=5, pH=7.8, CYA=70, TA=131, Total Hardness=122. What is CC?

My pool has a salt system so would that make any difference in the above recommendations?

I have soaked it in the StripKleen solution sold at my pool store. Over the last 4 days or so I have rinsed it daily and I am getting a greenish film coming off of the filter. This is a first for that. I have not tried the cleaning with muratic acid. I will try that next. Where can you buy...

No water issues. When you say size I assume you are talking the size of the pool? If so the pool is a 14x28 fiberglass pool.
