    WhisperFLo Looking At RPMs

Interesting, thanks ! I may create a new thread to talk about my case. I just saw a video about a superflo and his external power meter was actually recording slightly less than what the pump was showing (but was close). I'll double check my setup.

Interesting. If those check valves are common that still something we should consider before saying to everyone the lower the better. And what if you have 5ft of static head loss ? The impact on the flow rate at 3450rpm might be 10-20%, the impact at 1000rpm might be 100%, 0 flow, 0 efficiency...

The thing is that the curve A does not represent OP situation, so anything deriving from it is going to be potentially false. The curve is a perfect match at 3450, 3000, 2200rpm but way off at 1400 : ~28gpm predicted vs 18 reported. Something is missing (static head maybe ?). Seeing how the flow...

I assumed 560W at 2200rpm and 200W at 1400rpm but your data seems to be more reliable. Do you count the power consumption of the drive itself as well ? As far as I know Pentair doesn't, which underestimates the watts displayed especially at low speeds. It would be interesting if the OP could...

Interesting. In your case it means running at 1400 is barely more efficient (gpm/watt) than running at 2200. It doesn't support what I always read : "the slower the better".
