I pulled out the grid cluster, cleaned and inspected each filter and found that none of the grids had a nick or tear. The manifold looked solid as did the o-ring. So, is it possible that the debris is coming from a multi-port gasket? Is opening the multi port valve the next option?

yes, the tank has about 15 lbs. of pressure and water does gush out if opened

I'm having trouble keeping the DE and other sediment out of the pool. As I vacuum the pool a lot of the debris that was vacuumed returns. And by the next day, the pool looks like it had not been vacuumed in a week. Is my problem in the DE filter or the multi port valve? Thanks
