You're right, I'm in Houston. This pump just runs the scuppers. Initially we had a weeping wall with six outlets but when we revamped the pool in 2018 we changed to the three scuppers. I'll talk to my pool guy about these other pumps y'all have suggested.

I'm looking for a replacement pump basket, part # R0559000. It's an HH Plus series pump. They stopped making the baskets in 2011 so the guy at Zodiac said I should replace the entire pump! Any ideas are appreciated.

one check valve one the spa return and one on the pool return. Could the cause be from having the suction valve set to pull a little from the spa (mostly from the pool)? Would the water back up through there?

It is draining down to the level of the pool. I'll check the valve housing to see if there are any obstructions.

I had the same problem and replaced the check valve flapper assembly. Got up this morning and the water had drained again. :( Any suggestions? I double checked and the check valve is in the right direction.
