I have surge protectors on computers, tv's, etc. but not on hard wired things like pool. AC, or the entire house. With all the power outages during monsoon season I can see why it's a good idea Thanks

Well, if anyone is interested in the final outcome. I received the board from Amazon a new (blemished) board and it did not work either. i called out a service company since i was out of ideas. I out thge original board back in so it would be exactlyas it was after the power outage. And guess...

Well I give up. I found a used (new but blemished) board for $415 and ordered it. Waiting for it to arrive to install it and see what happens

Hayward finally replied to my inquiry. They said shut off power for at least 5 minutes and then it should resume communications. If not call an authorized service provider. Our power was out again for over an hour and no change so call a service company and spend a fortune?

No, but it sounds similar to my problem. I have the pump running and using chlorine tabs. But no t cell, lights or buttons responding

The power was out for about an hour. There was a power surge when it came back on. Internet out for 4 hours, etc. Now the Goldyne panel says "Comm err 1. Call 888-921-7665. The panel only beeps. No buttons respond. Not even the red service buttons. I have tried to turn off power at breaker...

Re: Aqua Logic Salt Too High - Cholrinator Off High Salt/Amp I have low amps (0.4),000ppm salt reading. But Voltage is high (30v.). I have done the K1 soldering fix in the past. Is this the same or different problem? Any suggestions?? Thanks

Update; I did the soldering fix (no cell power.com) and returned the faulty t cell from CompuPool. Installed a new one under warranty and everything is working fine now. Thanks for all your help and advice. Saved me a ton ($600) of money! :party:
