    New Pump & SWG Questions

Is it normal when you run the pump at around 1200-1500 that the pressure gauge on the filter would be at 0? I'm also noticing after running it at those speeds for a few hours, there are some air bubble in the pump basket. When I turn up the speed to around 2750, the pressure gauge goes up to...

    New Pump & SWG Questions

Re: New Pump & SWG Questions I talked to the pool company and this is what I'm going to have them come back out and do. - - - Updated - - - I was thinking of when having the salt dissolve should the pump be switched off which it sounds like it should until it dissolves. I just bought...

    New Pump & SWG Questions

Thanks. For now, I'll just run the pump 24/7. If the flow is too low for the SWCG to generate chlorine, does it still consume some of the life of the cell or will it not matter unless the flow is high enough for the SWCG to be able to generate chlorine? I think I'll have them wire the SWCG to...

    New Pump & SWG Questions

What are the issues if I use the timer to turn the power on and off for the pump? I guess I could leave on the pump 24/7 and just run it at a really low flow rate for about 8-10 hours.

    New Pump & SWG Questions

Should I have them wire the SWCG to the timer or just leave it how it is now and use the timer to cut power to the pump when it isn't set to run which will also cut power to the SWCG?

    New Pump & SWG Questions

Re: New Pump & SWG Questions Yes. Called them again and he said when the pump is not running, the flow switch will turn the SWCG off which from reading this site, is not what I want. That should just be the failsafe so asked him to come back and wire the SWCG to the timer. The issue is...

    New Pump & SWG Questions

So they did not wire it correctly? The pump is also wired to a timer that they said to always leave on. When the pump is turned off, they said there will be no power going to the SWCG. Is that true? They were suppose to do all this while I was here so they could properly explain it but of course...

    New Pump & SWG Questions

Just had my pump replaced with the intellipro VSF and had intellichlor IC 40 installed. It seems they installed it so that the SWG is always on whenever the pump is on. They wired it to the load side of the pump is what they said. Is that correct? I was only planning to have the SWG run for...

    PVC fountain in Polaris port

I am having the same issue - tried it with the washcloth and it broke off. Not sure how I can get it out now. Guess I'll have to call someone to come out to get it out. It won't turn or budge at all.

    2016 bleach prices

Walmart.com still lists the price at $2.50. I was able to get the bottles in the store for that price by just showing the web page with the $2.50 price even though it was listed at $3.64 on the shelf. I just picked up 8 bottles with a 184 code so should be pretty fresh.

    2016 bleach prices

Picked up 8 bottles today at Walmart. Was $2.50 per and had date code of 16-162. They were fully stocked and had some on an end cap. Probably had 200 bottles in stock.

Getting DE out of the pool

Mine is a pressure side cleaner and it won't pick up the DE. It just stirs it up so will have to go with manual vacuuming I guess.

Getting DE out of the pool

I'm thinking I will probably just starting using it to clean the pool instead of the polaris anyway though. I don't think the polaris does a great job and just saving up to get a robot anyway. I figure with the savings from not running the booster pump for an hour or two every day, it won't take...
