I have noticed that when I shut off the filter and then remove the chlorinator lid I get a backwash of DE up through the floor drain. I attribute this to a bad check valve in the filter. Any ideas? Also, I noticed yesterday a stream of DE coming out of the two returns after I shut down, bumped...

Hi, I have this pool that is 41 years old and so much a part of our lives in the summer. It does have it's quirks! I would rather do it myself than trust some of the pool "pros" Iv'e come across.
