does anyone know how to adapt a walmart generic vaccuum hose to the skimmer of the intex 2650 sand filter pump?

I have a sf2000? Skimmer/pump assy on my summer escapes pool, 20'x48"pool. It's terrible,,waiting on intex 2650 to come today. Will post the outcome later,,once I get it connected.
