    Acrylic topped concrete deck

Thanks for the reply Donny, I am worried that possibly the concrete was not cured enough before the acrylic was laid. Hopefully everything will be okay.

    Acrylic topped concrete deck

Does anybody know if there will be future issues with the acrylic topping?

    Acrylic topped concrete deck

I have always heard from industry (construction) professionals that there is a minimum wait time for the concrete to properly dry before applying acrylic topping; that being a total of 5 consecutive dry days. The pool builder poured the concrete during rainfalls, and then topped it 2 days after...

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. The concrete crew formed the deck about 10 days ago. Waiting on the deck pour, hopefully any day now.

Lots of water has been sitting in the gunite shell for over a month. I have asked several times for it to be pumped out, due to the mosquito problem. Last Saturday the super came out and said there were no pumps available, and throws shock in the water.

I owe about 33%. I have asked to break ties with the company and close out the contract, and the GM says he will relieve the decking portion of the project, but not let me out of plaster and startup. The PB wants to deck form on Wednesday, which means I write another big check, but will not...

Nope, I am in the back of the line. - - - Updated - - - I look at it as a lie by the scheduler that emailed me, and bad business practice for pulling me off the schedule because I requested a meeting with the GM.

Alright, I got the email stating the reason no work was performed was because of the 15 days of rain in April. I called the GM and we discussed the rain issue. He told me the reason for the 3 week delay is because I requested to meet with him about holding a percentage of the funds until...

One week was due to the rain, but the other two weeks it has been clear. I think it's mostly because the PB missed their finish date, and refuse to set another date, even after I have made multiple requests for a new date to be set.

3 weeks and nothing has been attempted on the pool. I guess the PB feels it's okay to not try to finish the job in a timely manner. Pretty upset to say the least.

Cypress, TX storms on April 25th; cause any construction or post construction issues?

No damage to our house or pool, thank the good lord for that. Sorry to hear about all that had damage, and hopefully everybody comes out ahead.

Things are slowly getting better with the build, thanks for asking. The waterline tile is Bluebonnet from Noble Tile Supply, NSHC636. The tile crew actually cut 3x3s from left over waterline tile to make the spotters.

Another Pool Build in Cypress, TX

Suz, the pool is looking great! Good luck with the tile, I am not so good with picking out color schemes, so I left that to my wife. We went with the Bluebonnet from Noble Tile Supply, NSHC636.
