Check the pump lid seal and water level—air leaks or clogs might be the issue. Try clearing the line with a hose or vac, and backwash the filter if it’s dirty.

Remove the timer and let the freeze guard run the pump 24/7 at a low speed for freeze protection. Or, keep the timer and set the pump to low so it works with the freeze guard when needed.

I vote for cartridge filters coz they are easier to clean.

I’ve heard the cheaper mesh covers work just as well. As long as they’re sturdy and fit right, they should do the job.

Hey all!:wave: I've been using pool covers similar to the type shown in the picture, but I’ve noticed that their lifespan is only about two years. Is this normal? Are there higher-quality pool covers that last longer? Or am I perhaps using them incorrectly?
