I don't use the tabs anymore, I switched to Calcium Hypochlorite 70%. I will be draining and starting over in the spring but trying to get educated so I can control my levels after refill.
I can’t figure out why my PH keeps rising. I lowered my PH to 7.2 a week ago, my TA is 120 and today my PH is back to 8.4. We have had no rain and I do not have an auto fill. My CYA is 80, CH is 325. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Re did my test and it was only 100, Not sure what happened, Now i have added dry acid I'm sure it will drop. Is there a more acurate ph test other than the color test in the taylor kit?
Can adding clorox raise PH and Total Alkalinity? I have added dry acid twice to get both down and all I have added is some clorox. Had my Alkalinity at 120, lowered to 90, and a week later it is 130.
I appreciate your help. I figured out how to stop the flow, My basket was not lined up with the hole and the pump was clogged with leaves. All fixed now. Thanks.
