Taterfink, Look into some crushed Alabama Rose Stone for paths. I have some under my deck and it compacted nicely and holds up to water well and drains well. I don't know if its something the landscape supply houses in your area have but its a good choice I think. Link...

Update: I applied the patches as per the instructions on the package. The biggest problem is that the patches try to roll up when your glue them. I fold them over onto themselves as directed but when you are under water its hard to un-fold them and get them stuck down in time. I think they are...

When vacuuming the pool yesterday, I noticed what appears to be a puncture in the floor of the liner. Is there anyway to repair this with water in the pool? Looks like a half circle suspiciously the size of the brush pole. I don't know how it got there cause everyone else swims and leaves...

I would be using my Hayward that I took off when I bought the Intex SWG system so it would be independent of the pool pump.

Its a round ABG pool and she wants it about 2 top cap sections before (in the flow rotation) the skimmer. I think it will be a problem that close to the skimmer. Thanks for the reply.

Just got a Pool Blaster Max. Charged it overnight and then vacuumed my pool. The battery died before I was finished. I only got about 3/4 of the way through. I did have a lot of sediment to vacuum up so it did take some time, but it was dead in about 30 minutes. Is this normal?

I screwed a 2" PVC pipe fitting on to my waste port on the 6 way valve. It went on about 2 threads before it go tight. I did use plenty of thread tape on it. Hasn't leaked yet.... but then again, its not under any pressure at all on the waste port.

Auto vac

Not sure if I should post this here or in the ABG section to get the most response. What does everyone with a 24" ABG recommend for a vacuum? I rarely ever get any leaves in my pool but seems to be a lot of dust and sediment. (New sand in the filter) Thanks
