Dolphin triton, triton plus or z5

Since I have been a member of this forum, I've never seen it actually above the 1200 price tag, so I would call that more of a marketing ploy than anything else. I missed getting the triton at 660 last year as the vendor ran out of supply with warranty.

Dolphin triton, triton plus or z5

Well, I'm keeping a lookout for a sale, if anyone knows of one let me know. All I can find is 50 bucks off now with dolphin100

Dolphin triton, triton plus or z5

I'm interested in the responses to this. I'm debating a triton, triton plus and z5 at the moment. If any of them go on sale, I will pull the trigger.

How to prevent algae even when I stay on top of chemicals

Well I found that my filter's pressure went up from 2 psi to 4 psi. I cleaned it out this morning and the pressure went down. This was down at 1500 rpm. I'm thinking I might do the filter pressure test at a higher rpm so that I can see a more substantial pressure reading. Sent from my PC36100...

How to prevent algae even when I stay on top of chemicals

Last time I called it an algae bloom could have been dirt too cause I never failed the oclt test. Could be my filter but the pressure hasn't gone up on the gauge and it seems to be working. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2b

How to prevent algae even when I stay on top of chemicals

It was greenish when I swept the floor. Other times I see a little white powder move around. It is hard for me to tell if it was algae or just dirt as it was mostly on the bottom but all over the pool. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

How to prevent algae even when I stay on top of chemicals

I have been testing my pool daily for FC, CC and pH and have not had my FC go below 4 for a CYA of 30ish. My CC has not gone above 0.5. I also try and keep the pH at 7.4 to 7.5. I run my pump at 1000 rpm for 10 hours and 1500 rpm for 2 hours each day. I have been brushing the pool twice a...

Solar Cover - Manual vs. Semi Automatic vs Automatic

My 1 and a half year has been doing ISR for about 4 weeks now and the results have been amazing. I agree the best advice is to keep their distance from water if possible and always be present. But man my daughter sure is quick!. With the cover broken up into sections though it should be...

Solar Cover - Manual vs. Semi Automatic vs Automatic

I found this link in my search through the forum, http://www.ellerbach.com/Pool/Solarcover/. This seems like what I was thinking about doing. My only concern with this is my child failing into the pool, but we have 2 doors leading to the pool and a mesh safety fence and an alarm if she opens...

Solar Cover - Manual vs. Semi Automatic vs Automatic

This thread has me thinking that some sort of solar ring setup would be best for cost and ease of use. I could make my pieces small enough that a single person could do it. I could make them custom shapes so I can increase my coverage and use magnets on the edges to get a good seal. Sent from...

Solar Cover - Manual vs. Semi Automatic vs Automatic

My pool is kidney shaped and is 16' X 38' on the outer perimeter.

Solar Cover - Manual vs. Semi Automatic vs Automatic

I'm looking at solar covers to get all the nice benefits of less evaporation, less chemical use, and increased pool temp. But, there is a lot of different products out there ranging in price and function. I live in Florida and my main concern is increasing the temperature of my pool to as...

    pH Testing Question

I found a 2 point probe in a quick internet search, http://www.omega.com/pptst/PHH_60_80.html. Seems to be much more accurate than the pH color matching routine and is not an outrageous price. I work with lots of different test equipment, and I would think a 2-point calibration would probably...

    pH Testing Question

I'm trying to keep my pH at 7.4 to 7.5 to keep staining to minimum, but I can't really tell much a difference between 7.2 and 7.5.

    pH Testing Question

Is there a way to test the pH without having to color match? I'm having a hard time being able to distinguish color changes. I have tried it in daylight, artificial light, different backgrounds, etc.
