AquaLogic PS 4/8 Controller - Override I have the AquaLogic PS8 controler for our pool. I'm having issues with our pool temp sensor as it is reading 159 degrees, the pool is actually closer to 84 degrees. Anyway, my question is obviously it wont let me turn the heater on as it is in Auto mode...

Yesterday my pool temp. sensor started reading that my pool temp was 159 degrees which is totally off. Anyone have any idea why the sensor would be reading so off like that? Time for a new sensor?

I only clean the filter cartridges 2 times a year and most recently 1 month ago. The small polaris valve screen has been clogging up regularly before and after I did the recent cleaning. I'll need to trouble shoot how and if this debris in the small valve screen is coming from the pool filter...

I'm pretty sure it's called the pressure release valve that's what is connected to the end of my cleaner hose into the wall. The valve has a filter screen, and from my guess in the way it's positioned it's not screening in from the cleaner but the opposite direction. This screen gets clogged...

Okay it's been a while but I finally, after having the light for 1 yr, did the spa light replacement. Turned out to be pretty easy. Followed a youtube video from the "online electrician" and it was a snap!

Jason unfortunately I wasn't able to try your advice. After a little love-tap the pump decided to start working again. Quite possible it was just stuck.
