Just got this pump, LOVING it, but I'm curious how often I should plan on back washing the filter? I'm installing an inwall skimmer tomorrow if that helps with your answer at all.

I believe you'll need an adapter, as Intex uses non-standard threads. Search the web for "intex fitting standard".
