CH results vary between TF-100 and TF-Pro kits

Just a quick update. OTPirate is sending me a CH Standard solution to conduct further testing with. I did side-by-side tests tonight with both kits. Everything is in sync except for the CH, which is good news. TF-Pro had CH 550 while the TF-100 was at 375 -- at least it's consistent, right!? I...

CH results vary between TF-100 and TF-Pro kits

Thanks for all the feedback. There is no obvious blockage in the tips. I've reached out to TFTestKits. I'm going to do a full comparison to see what else might be amiss. For now I'm not trusting any tests out of the TF-Pro.

CH results vary between TF-100 and TF-Pro kits

I've had the TF-100 since late January this year, but I also just picked up a TF-Pro this month. I'm currently bringing my CH up to ~350 from the low point of 200. Everything was going well until I used the TF-Pro to test today, then I compared results between the two. 3/31: I started with CH...

Calcium buildup on grout under waterfall

Thank you sir...we were following the Microfusion recommended values for the most part for CH: 150 – 250 PPM. But I can definitely see the issue on the lower end. I think our next step will be raising the CH towards 350. We’ll try the MA/brush on the existing stains.

    Help for SLAM this weekend

I SLAM'ed at 100 CYA, it took a lot of bleach but it did work. With the FAS-DPD testing for FC is the issue that it takes a lot of reagents, or it's not accurate after a certain point?

    IntelliFlo VS vs. VSF

I'm about to replace my single speed pump with a VS and I'm looking at the 3HP IntelliFlo pumps. Can the VSF pump operate in RPM mode instead of flow mode? I found the VSF to be cheaper than the VS in most places. Pentair IntelliFlo VS Variable Speed Pool Pump - 011028 for $1300 Pentair...
