    Mastertemp 400 cuts off

You said check AC voltage S1 to ground and S2 to ground so those readings are AC. I did not check S1 to S2. Do you want me to check S1 to S2 in DC or AC? It just heated my 1,000 gallon spa from 70 to 100 in 45 minutes. Is that good?

    Mastertemp 400 cuts off

Ok, new day and less problems. I'm not sure what happened overnight but it's now back to igniting and cycling. Interesting thing is I timed the cycles and they started getting longer and longer before cutting off. I took the measurements you requested the best I could. See attached picture of...

Yes, the temp increased from 72 to 73 after a few 55 second cycles. HOWEVER, I seem to have taken a step backwards. I tested the thermal regulater in a pot of hot water and it contracted as it should and went back to closed under cold water. When I reinstalled it now the heater will NOT...

    Mastertemp 400 cuts off

I guess the confusing part was that I was testing the Thermistor on my work bench when I got that reading. Then I told you the temp on the display later on. No wonder it was increasing slightly on my work bench when I was holding it in my hand.

The ohms or the temperature? I'm going off of the display temp when I said 76. I just did another few videos I'm going to upload and it was 72 and then bumped up to 73 after a few 55 second cycles of the heater turning on. It was K ohms so 9.5 was 9,500 ohms I believe.

Yes, it does read correctly at 76 degrees.

Would that thermistor showing low ohms cause short cycling?

Alright so here is the latest today. The internal bypass was in perfect condition. The sensor you see in the picture had some corrosion but ohm'd at 9.0, I cleaned it up w some sand paper. I took a hose at full pressure and put in each one of the holes in the manifold and they all flowed out the...
