i did the nylonknee high trick, soaked overnight, and then checked it this am - not alot gone, but i managed to squish it for a few minutes and dissolved 90% of it into the skimmer. worked great. thanks all

had Leslie's test my pool water last night while i bought a new pool cleaner. i'm BBB, and test at home, except for CYA. they said i have NO CYA. I expected that, since i don't use pucks. but now i'm left wondering, do i need a little CYA? or is it pointless to have any at all? thanks

after all night in the deep end, the cleaner still did not pickup all the debris in a 1x4 ft area near the edge. climbed the walls great. never got to the shallow end. i'm off to buy a pressure cleaner. if anyone wants to buy this at 1/2 price, just PM me....

both are pressure cleaners that don't require a booster pump. the difference in price is $225! i have an I/G, gunite, 20x45ft, 3-9.5ft deep free form pool. not alota debris/no major leafing trees. i don't like my old and decripit jandy rayvac, it won't make it into the shallow end anymore...
