I have covers similar to the HIDE covers on my deck for the skimmer, auto-fill as well as drain covers. Not as "seamless" as the HIDE skimmer cover, but I can take this one on and off without any special tools, so that parts is cool.

My shelf depth is 9 inches. Enough water to have my feet dipped and comfy, but not so much that my butt is wet when using the chairs.

6 months after we broke ground, we’re officially done with construction work! We've got some punch list items to take care of, and some minor finishing work, including touch up paint on the house. Overall, I’m very happy with how things turned out!
