Yes, it turned out that the water level was too low and the backwash up/down pusher being open. Water was about 1" over the skimmer basket and when the pump went on, it was sucking air. After I filled the pool and closed the backwash pusher, the DE filter tank filled up with water and I bled...

I just bought a house with a pool and don't know much (yet) evertying was fine for the first couple of days then the water level in the pool got too low. I filled the pool back up but now there are air bubbles in the pump window and return lines in the pool. I cannot get the pump fully primed...
