2 pavers broke after pool is full

It’s a lot of work!! I didn’t realize when I purchase the pool that so much preparation had to take place before putting it up. My ground is clay, so I made a wood frame and we are filling in the area with 3/4 process gravel. I’m hoping this weekend we can get the area all compacted. So far this...

2 pavers broke after pool is full

Great, I'm going to use those. I don't plan on taking the pool down for the winter, and I really don't want to use wood. I"m trying to figure out placement for the pavers; did you go by the picture that is listed on this site? Or did you set the pool up and figure it out that way?

18x9x52 Intex ultra frame, placement of XPS and pavers?

Hello, I’m almost all set getting the ground ready for my new pool. How many 8x4 XPS foam boards should I use to go under the pool, and will they line up with the pavers. I was thinking 4; that would give me an area of 8x16. Is that too short?

Intex ultra frame 18' rectangular, ? if I should use XPS w/pavers

Thanks, I'm starting to regret buying a rectangular pool, LOL. I think level a circle is so much easier. Can't wait for it to be all done and I can just enjoy it!!!

Intex 18’ x 9’ XPS with pressure treated boards advise.

I seen that a lot of people have issues with them cracking. I'm planning on using XPS, I wonder if it will be okay to put the pavers in the ground and then the XPS over them, and have the legs on the XPS boards; just don't know if the weight of the pool will crack it.

Intex 18’ x 9’ XPS with pressure treated boards advise.

Thank you, that is diffidently something to consider. I really want 4" pavers, but I can't find them in my area. My yard is clay and doesn't drain well, so I want to make sure my pool is well supported. I plan on only having it up during the summer and then taking it down for the winter.

Yes, we are going to level the ground; I just think it will be more stable with larger longer wood planks, but I could be wrong, LOL.

Intex 18’ x 9’ XPS with pressure treated boards advise.

Hello, the wood is for the support under the legs of the pool. I want to use a long board instead of small individual for each leg. Just now sure if this is a good idea.

Intex 18’ x 9’ XPS with pressure treated boards advise.

Hello, I’m so thankful for this site. But I feel like I’m overthinking my pool set up, LOL. I’m planning on putting 1-1/2” or 2” XPS boards. From reading other posts, I will need approximately 12 4’ x 8’ boards. I’m also planning on using 2x10x16 pressure treated pine. My concern, the grain of...

Intex ultra frame 18' rectangular, ? if I should use XPS w/pavers

Hello, I wasn't sure if the weight of the pool would push them done further. Do you use XPS foam boards as well?
