Now for the good news.. I purchased a product called Chlor Out. Measured enough to reduce the Chlorine from 44 to 22.. well the Chlorine dropped to 0 and the TA jumped thru the roof. I was able to use Acid to bring it down, and now all my levels are right where i want them. Thank you guys so...

Frustrating.. added water back, and 1.5 days in as much sun as i could squeeze in. still FAS-DPD test with 5Ml.. 43 drops. the next 5 days were supposed to have un presendented heat. 90+ for at least 5 days, i sure hope it helps.

Drained about 10 inches with out too much trouble.. Adding water back now.

Alright I peeled a few panels back, lol the wife is not pleased, but im getting 30 to 40% sun on the pool.

its a metal roof on the pool house, im seriously considering peeling a few panels back.

How about draining some of the pool and refilling to dilute it?

Do you guys think i should try Sodium thiosulfate to lower the chlorine?

wow, ok did the FAS-DPD test with 5Ml.. 44 drops. That's a little high i'm thinking.. (no, no one is swimming in the pool) and no i haven't added anything to the pool. 2 pounds on non chlorine shock was added on the 25th of last month. Then it took 4 days for the kit to arrive, (yes i have it)...

I have the entire TF-100 kit. I did the chlorine drop test on the first day. It was a dark purple if memory serves, it didnt change after 50 drops. In order to conserve the solution ive only been doing the k-1000 every few days to see if the FC has come down to the point where it registers, or...

1 gallon a day since i ordered the kit. I just did a Chlorox dipstick test. Your 100% correct, the FC is too high. Thank you guys for taking time out to help teach me.

Do you think my FC is too high? when i was testing at the Store they always had my FC as 0 and my CC was 8.8.
