HELP!!! RE-PLUMBING A DISCONNECTED SOLAR HEAT SYSTEM

I think so, but I'm not sure who did what or why. I have a theory, based on facts I know about the last "pool" guy & previous owner and through my own observation. I believe that the original filter was DE or sand, with a smaller pump.I think it could explain the fact that the pipes seem to take...

Pump Station needs OVERHAUL, not enough money to start over

Re: Pump Station needs OVERHAUL, not enough money to start o The setup as it sits is so confusing! :| It would make things so much easier if I knew the thought process behind the installation(s)/and /or fixes. Is there a way to do some sort of line test on each run to establish what goes where...

Re: Pump Station needs OVERHAUL, not enough money to start o I think that the Flo Vis will be better served on the return side from the filter to the solar? When I get to that section that is.... I'm still in need of help coming up with an efficient and less confusing layout for the plumbing...

    1995 CalSpa jet leak...htf?

I recently acquired a 1995 CalSpa and it is leaking (alot) from 1 of 3 or all 3 jets at the very highest water level(about 1-2" from the top edge, which is too high in my opinion, especially with more than one person in the spa! I need to either plug them, or disable them after I fix the leak...

    Bad Valve and more..Please Help!!

I apologize for getting off track, but I found the valve after searching was also available through a landscape supply store as well, it turns out that this valve is not able to handle chemically treated water. Combined with the fact (please forgive my ignorance) that I was putting a chlorine...

    Bad Valve and more..Please Help!!

I have many more plumbing issues to deal with, as you will see from the pics, but the most immediate issue is the serious suction leak that is making the pump very difficult to prime. I can hear the water returning to the pool when I shut the system down. I started out by cleaning the filter...

    Ch-Ch-Changes.....

I did take that into consideration originally when we were looking at our options regarding the floor, budget wise we cannot afford to replaster it and living in the forest has left its mark on it, since the surface will only tolerate so many acid washings before your'e in trouble. After doing...
