Hayward Heater with Aquaplus controller set temp issue.

Well, in case anyone else every has this issue. I figured it out. I have a two-wire remote system, which is to be connected to the orange and white wires in the harness within the heater. The installer had connected the remote wires to the orange and red wires on the harness.

Hayward Heater with Aquaplus controller set temp issue.

I recently had to replace my pool heater, from a StaRite to a Hayward H400FDN. I have an Aquaplus controller with a SWCG. After the installation of the new heater, the pool heats to the setpoint on the keypad of the heater, and it doesn't adjust with the Aquaplus controller (used to work...

    Is my cell dead?

I have a Hayward T-Cell-15 system. The cell is just over 5 years of age. I have 4000PPM of salt in my water, as tested by an electronic meter (NOT by the SWG system). When running diagnostics, the voltage is -28.5, Amps of -1.02 and a 0000PPM reading of salt. I'm assuming this means I need...

    Waiting game now?

I see. So that would mean, in my case, keep the FC at 31 until the water is crystal clear, and don't let it drift down? It has stayed at 31 for almost 12 hours now, and the SWCG is turned off. I guess, in my head, I was thinking that if the FC has stayed at 31 for 12 hours, there is nothing...

    Waiting game now?

Well, it's been a BUSY three days. After a green swamp situation, I think I'm reaching the end of my SLAM (after 20 jugs of bleach!). I have passed my OCLT and I have no CC in the water. My number are as follows: CYA: 80 FC: 31 CC: 0 TA: 100 pH: 7.2 (it was before the SLAM, so I assume it...

    Help clearing my pool.

Oh, I see now. That recommendation was base on the non-SWCG level. I have a SWCG so was thinking I would have to correct both the CYA and shock at the same time. But essentially I shouldn't shock to that 24-31 level because my CYA is so low. So essentially, I should bring the CYA to 30, and...

    Help clearing my pool.

Thanks for the help. I wasn't able to vacuum to waste, because there was no precipitant to vacuum, so that's the crux of my question. Is this going to mess up my sand filter, since I was unable to remove the floc with debris? I do have a vinyl liner, and a salt water chlorine generator. The...

    Help clearing my pool.

All, I have an 11,000 gallon salt water pool with a sand filter. I went away for a while and came back to a green pool. I shocked the pool with liquid chlorine (4 gallons of 8.5% liquid bleach). My plan was to floc after and to vacuum the waste, as I needed the pool cleared quickly (I know...
