Thanks... I don't get it. The image attached to my post is unreadable but the one in your reply looks fine.

The image I uploaded is unreadable. The original is fine. TFP must compress the files.

    Hayward Power Flo Matrix pump/motor

I had to replace my Power Flo towards the end of last season. The broken one acts like it needs a starter capacitor. 1) Does it even have a starter cap? 2) Where can I get one? Hayward doesn't seem interested in helping me. Going through the motor manufacturer was a dead end. Thanks, Joe Papworth

Adding a second layer of plywood to the pool wall

I specifically asked if anyone had experience with adding a second layer of plywood wall to an above ground pool. Since you do not, you should not have weighed in.

There's not much to see. It's sitting right on the ground.

It would be totally out of the ground if not for the slope in my backyard. One end is sitting on the ground, the other end is about 18" below grade.

Yes, it's pressure treated plywood but my original question was if anyone has had experience with this type of a repair. Someone requested pix but these don't tell you much because the work is done and the pool has been refilled. Check out that huge bird on the back railing!

Yes. It's a Sun Holiday pool. TFP says the photo file is too big

Adding a second layer of plywood to the pool wall

After 20-plus years, the walls were getting weak. A pool guy suggested the additional plywood. It seems like it did the trick. But he cut the new sheets about 3" narrower than the originals and I don't know why. I'm hoping someone on here can shed some light on the subject. Thanks, Joe
