After adding R-0871 and going from pink to clear should the solution go back to pink or stay clear? I'm adding R-0871 it goes to clear I count the number and then a few minutes later it goes back to pink.

I ended up purchasing a 3/4 HP Superflo and changed the sand in my Hayward 220. The new pump seems to work really well and keep a pressure at 12PSI. Very Quite! I did move the plumping about 6 feet so I could install a small pool house. I think I added 20 elbows after everything was said and...

I installed the new beige cover over the weekend with help from family. It was very easy, but very labor intensive. The pool company wanted $600+ to just install the cover, it took us 4 hours and never looked or worked better. Now I know the inter-workings of the system for future maintenance...

I had to purchase a switch from Pool Saver to make the motor work for the auto cover. It now works like a dream! Just installed a new beige cover and it looks great!

I have yet to find a solution.. Do you have a pool saver motor and switch? I think my next approach is to go to an electrical supply warehouse and see if they could fit me with some kind of switch.

Ok, took pool school but that was 2 months ago. :) Going to Sam's this weekend, how much bleach should I buy to open my pool? Do I still need to shock it once a week or shock it to open it? Also, how much Baking Soda and Borate do I need? Thanks!

Hi waste, Would I need to take the tracks off to replace the cover? Also, I assume all new covers come with new rope? I've talked to pool guys who said it takes 3-4 hours, is it a hard process? I'm pretty mechanically inclined.

The limiter box is broken according to a repair shop. Pool Saver wants $550 for that box or they said I can bypass the limiter by using a 120v Key Switch for $230 which also the cover to open when the key is turned and stops when I let go.
