Thanks, I'm not certain on the pool calculator whether I got it right or not. I got around 1&1/2 lbs of Cya and 48 oz of 12.5 bleach? This is just too new to me. Lol

How long after adding the chemicals is it safe to swim?

We just set up our very first pool. Intex AG ultra frame 22X52 10,340 Gallon. Are the only chemicals needed for start up bleach, borax, baking soda and cya? Also Wal-Mart sells in the pool isle liquid chlorine in gallon jug. Can that be used the same as bleach with less amounts since it has...
