2gal of 10% bleach/day...Does this seem like too much?

The date on the Chlorine bottles and boxes is written using what is called the Julien date. For the picture above 18160 is the 160th day of 2018. So yes Dirk, you are correct with June 8, 2018. Always check the boxes at HD and LOWES. I have actually seen boxes with 2016 and 2017 dates still...

Walmart "Pool Essentials 10% Chlorinating Liquid" - Anyone else not able to find it?

Re: Walmart "Pool Essentials 10% Chlorinating Liquid" - Anyone else not able to find I know it’s not the ideal place to go, but I just picked up some liquid chlorine from Home Depot. The date on the box shows it was bottled on the 199 day. Today is 216 day. Pretty close to FRESH!!!

California Wild fires & my pool...

Good morning, we live close to some of the fires currently burning in Northern Ca. Not so close we are in any danger, but we are getting ash and smoke in the air, and in the pool. Of course in the grand scale of things ash in my pool is minor compared to what other are dealing with. What...

    Pool Math........The App

Hello, this question may have already been asked, and if so I’m sorry to ask it again. When configuring my pool in the App, I only have 3 options for pool types, vinyl, plaster, or fiberglass. I have a pebble finish, how can i select pebble, or do I just use plaster? Thanks

New Jandy Variable speed pump/Aqualink RS system

Eureka! I figured it out. Somehow in my PDA -System Setup - Assign JVAs my cleaner got deleted from AUX 2 position. So the pump didn’t know it was suppose to turn on. I’m sure I did it to myself, and I’m ok admitting that. LOL. So we seem to be up and running. Fingers crossed.
