Do you mean 2 lines to the filter? Our skimmer is hooked to one and there was a small black hat looking thing we put over the other when we vacuum. We just put the vacuum tube into the skimmer tube, making sure to keep it all under water so it doesn't suck air. Hope that makes sense. :) Sent...

Update. First, thank you for the help. Added suggested chems and half the recommended salt. Water still clear this morning. FC tested at 1....added more bleech. And will test again when I get home. PH was down to 7.8. (Yay) Have the softener hanging in a sock so I think I am getting there...
