Opened multivalve and found two legs of the spider gasket were completely shredded! Put in a new one and will see how things run from here. Hope that solves my problem!

Pump motor was a direct replacement 2 hp. Don't know model type of pump as there is no labeling. Motor and impellor were replaced early last season and continued to operate as before. Debris problem started in early June of this season after pool had been opened for a month.

This is our third season with this pool and it has been a very frustrating one! I have a constant amount of fine debris in the bottom of the pool. When I try and vacuum it out I can just see it coming back in through the jets after just a swipe or two. The last two seasons I would see the jets...
