    Crack Repair

We think this pool is 25 years old. The original homeowner had it done when the house was built. We've lived here for three years. The crack in the deck was there when we moved in. But it was grown in the last 6 months. We became aware of the crack in the pool just this summer. Everything...

    Crack Repair

When the skimmer was replaced , water was entering the hole where the skimmer was. Doesn’t that mean the crack went all the way through the gunite

    Crack Repair

Hello TFP members, I recently had a suction side leak in my pool that required a skimmer replacement. I also had a crack in the pool that was about 3 feet long starting from the skimmer and going to the floor of the pool. I had previously asked here about a repair for the crack and received...

Crack in the deck & crack in the pool

I guess we’ll see if the pool leaks after the skimmer replacement. Thanks for all the input. I appreciate it

Crack in the deck & crack in the pool

I can’t tell how deep the crack in the plaster is. It’s pretty narrow. I don’t think I could shove anything in the crack to tell how far it went. The skimmer repair will involve sawcutting a 2x2 or 3x3 hole in the deck, hammering out the concrete, remove the old skimmer and install a new one...

Crack in the deck & crack in the pool

It looks to me that the slab in the picture you refer to is pulling more than lifting. The lift at the crack is about 1/4”. The pull is closer to an inch but I don’t know if the lift was there before the crack started getting big. The crack has always been there and someone applied some sort of...
