    testing salt level - do i need test strips?

    I'm just getting started with Intex SWG - I know it will alert on high/low, but it doesn't show the salt levels. Bout the TF-100, but I think I may need some kind of strip to test the salinity? Many thanks with all the advice received so far --- starting with adding salt now! Michele

    well setup day was yesterday, and we wound up using mats+ foam board - it makes a nice pool deck too! Gorilla pad goes back to the store:) Thanks for your advice!

    they are set into dirt/sand? as closely as possible, but there are maybe 1/4" or so between them. You can see some weeks popping through.

    you guys are all amazing. Checking my inventory, I think I might have flaked on the chlorine/bleach to supplement. Any issues with running the swg for with the salt and cya doing their thing fo a two days before adding chlorine? or should I do a quick run to the store?

    don't have anything set yet, so not sure how helpful...but my plan is to use 2x12 pressure treated lumber for under the legs - I also see that some people just put the legs on the foam. (legs are u- bars, so no a single pole for pressure).

    Got the TF-100 Start Up - Gotta support TFN! pool volume: 3,913 gal - Have not tested fill water. guess I should take a sample at the beginning of the fill.
