Did AA treatment, do I need to use Polyfill?

Thank you, I suppose no downside to trying polyfill. It could be falling from the sky as we have a terrible pollen season here. No staining on the floor so I imagine the solids are still in solution. Appreciate the help.

Did AA treatment, do I need to use Polyfill?

Salt results are from drop based test, not the SWG readout, that is usually reporting too high. I have the TF-Pro Salt. I have not tested fill water lately, I will as you advise polyfill and see if I get anything, the pool has been crystal clear for a long time, and after the AA treatment all...

FC 6.5 CC 0.0 pH 7.4 TA 90 CH 325 CYA 70 Salt 3600 Water temperature. 74 How often will i have to add sequestrant? to keep the iron in solution? I'd rather never drain the pool, don't mind adding sequestrant once in a while.

Did AA treatment, do I need to use Polyfill?

Hi all, a few months back when it was cold I did an ascorbic acid treatment and it was very successful in removing iron staining I had which formed from a hurricane dumping red dirt into my pool. During the AA process, I used Jacks magic Purple Stuff as I have a SWG. Now that we are past the...

Removing Iron Stains - Vitamin C

I am about to get rid of what I believe is Iron from red mud that slid into the pool with heavy rain. The Vitamin C in a small test worked great, can I just get rid of all the stains with the Vitamin C method or do I have to do a full ascorbic treatment. I am not sure if the Vitamin C is a test...

Rain washed mud and tree trimmings into pool

Thank you for your reply. I do agree I will bump up FC a ton, I have the SWG on 100% but will throw in liquid chlorine to get to a much higher FC sooner. And yes I do have a net and tried it a few times, was unsuccessful but will keep trying, I think I might have to get into the pool to be...

Rain washed mud and tree trimmings into pool

Massive rain storm washed mud, tree removal trimmings (bark, sawdust, pine needles), and dirt into pool destroying my salt water pool chemistry. I am running my filter on high rpm 24/7, I have cleaned filters twice now, running robot cleaner (polaris Alpha IQ+) for 30 mins at a time as that is...

Pool remodel question for waterline tile

My .02 is that it is relatively easy work, I'd just go with whomever is lower cost, I'd probably give the edge to the pool resurfacer as they probably do a bit more of that work, my thinking is they might be a bit higher quality overall.

Jandy Aquapure PLC1400 Vastly Different than Silver Nitrate Testing

Thank you, I am relying on the Silver Nitrate testing for accuracy and the SWG salt % indicator as a rough estimate.
